Announcements for the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary time

• We congratulate Fr. Mason on his installation this weekend and wish him many blessings in his role as Pastor of St. Catherine’s.

• The Knights of Columbus are concluding local collection of physical donations for Southeast Hurricane Relief. Thank you for your generous support. However, their Thanksgiving Food Drive goes on until November 24. Please, place non-perishable meal items in the box marked “Thanksgiving Food Drive K of C 7399.” Please place any gift cards in the collection baskets. Thank you.

• The Brotherhood of Our Lady of Divine Providence invites all to celebrate with them the feast of Our Lady of Divine Providence on Tuesday, the 19th November. Procession begins at 6:15 p.m. at the Marian Garden followed by Mass at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.

• The Knights of Columbus invite all to a Patriotic Rosary for Thanksgiving on Monday November 25th. It begins at 6.30 pm at the Marian Garden.

• Sunday, November 17, 2024, is the World Day of the Poor, a day established by Pope Francis in 2017 for Catholics to “reflect on how poverty is at the very heart of the Gospel”. Thank you for all you do for the poor in St. Catherine’s.

• Father Mason is requesting some volunteers for heavy lifting and/or cleaning on Thursday, November 21st from 9:30am to 11am for some Formation Center moves. If you can assist with cleaning, packing, or heavy lifting, etc. please contact the parish office…or just show up. THANK YOU!

• All are invited to sign up in the Narthex for a Parish-wide Thanksgiving dinner next Saturday, November 23rd at 6:30 p.m. in the family Life Center. When signing up, please indicate what dish you will be bringing to share at the feast and the number of guests in your party. If you are also interested in the turkey Cook-Off as a chef or judge, please contact Lisa through the Front Desk at the Parish Office.
