Announcements for the 15th of September
24th Sunday Ordinary Time
• St. Catherine’s Parish Ministry Fair comes up on September 28th and 29th. You are invited to come, meet and greet the leaders of the various ministries in the Parish and learn how you can be involved. Attention ministry leaders, please don’t forget to email Roger if your ministry plans on setting up a table for the fair. As well as a brief description of your ministry.
• The Bazaar Core team have more information in the Bulletin about the Bazaar this Fall. Please check the bulletin for details.
• The Knights of Columbus would like to thank the parishioners for supporting their ‘Back to School’ drive. With your help, they were able to donate three boxes of supplies and several backpacks to each of the five schools listed in the bulletin. Thank you.
• If you know of a neighbor or friend in temporary need, please leave a message for the Vincent de Paul society at the Parish office.
• There is a Bingo drive organized by the Knights of Columbus on Friday, 20th September. Doors open at 6:00 pm while the game begins at 7:00 pm. All are invited.
• Join us for a day of spiritual reflection and fellowship at the Jail and Prison Ministry Holy Spirit Retreat on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. her at St. Catherine of Siena. This retreat is designed for those currently serving, as well as those interested in learning more about this ministry.
• The cry room has been abused for some time. Due to the food that is often left behind and staining on the chairs which has resulted in bugs, food will no longer be permitted; only water and baby bottles. Please contact the office if you have questions. Thank you.
