• 3rd Annual Diocesan Rosary Congress for Life, Adoration and hourly Rosary, Sunday September 26, starting in the Chapel after the Noon Mass, and continuing until 7 am the next morning. Please sign up for a one-time hour. There are sign up lists in the chapel and on the desk in the narthex. Prayer is the most powerful tool we have to combat the culture of death. Come help bring about a Culture of Life.
• Please come join us, rain or shine, for the 29th Annual Life Chain along the East side of Blanding from Kingsley to Wells, from 2:00 to 3:00pm, Sunday October 3rd. As Jesus said to His disciples, “Could you not keep watch for one hour?” This is a legal public witness of the sanctity of life. Let us stand up and pray together for life and do our part to help bring about a culture of life. Signs can be picked up at Orange Park High School Parking lot, What-A-Burger, and Watson Realty. Ps The Jaguars don’t play that day.
• We are looking to have the best Lectors in the Diocese. We hope to attract more youth to become Lectors. There will be a one-night training session in the Church Thursday, September 30, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Whether you have never lectured, but want to, or whether you have been a lector a long time, please mark your calendars and join us. Please see bulletin or Deacon Larry for details.
• Your prayers are requested for Kairos Prison Ministry Retreat at Putnam Correctional Institution in Palatka the weekend of Oct. 7th – 10th. Please stop by the Kairos table in the Narthex after Mass to sign up for 30 minutes of prayer. You do not have to be in the Church or Chapel to pray.
