•Please join us for the All Souls Mass on Monday, November 2. In honor of our 50th Jubilee, prior to the The All Souls Mass and weather permitting, we be praying the Rosary and will light luminaries in the front of the church along Kingsley Avenue, one for each year of our 50 years as a parish, in memory of those who have gone before us, and also for those who have passed away as a result of the Coronavirus in Clay County. The Rosary will be begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a procession of 50 candles into the Church at 7pm.
If you would like to volunteer to help light the luminaries, recite the rosary, or be in the candle procession, please call Lisa Murphy in the parish office.
•The new St. Joseph Missals beginning in Advent are now available in the Parish Office for $3.00. Other personal liturgical resources, including annual missals in Spanish, will be available as they arrive at the parish.
The St. Catherine Bereavement Group will resume meeting on November 18th at 7:00pm in the Siena Room.
All are welcome to join us if you have lost someone, would like to offer support or would like to assist Deacon Ralph with the group.
We are also looking for people who would like to receive training as a parish bereavement ministry volunteer. Recently the Diocese has implemented the Seasons of Hope program and training sessions will be offered in early 2021. Pastors approval is required to take the training sessions. For more information please call Cheri Forster in the parish office.
•The Life Chain event is taking place [today/tomorrow] Sunday. As we have for the last 18 years, St. Catherine will join with other local churches in a peaceful prayerful protest against abortion. The event will take place from 2-3 p.m. on Blanding Blvd. Signs will be available at Orange Park High School, What-A-Burger, and Watson Realty. Please come out and stand up for the unborn.
