September 27, 2020. Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
•Due to several requests, the lyrics to today’s hymns can be found on St. Catherine’s Facebook page in the photos section. If you do use your mobile device to sing along please make sure to turn the ringer off. Thank you.
•Next Saturday October 3, the Annual Blessing of the Animals will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Courtyard of the Formation Center. Please bring your furry friends for a special blessing. Entrance will be through the Marian Garden.
•St. Catherine’s Annual Fall Bazaar will take place on October 23rd, 24th and 25th. Our ministries will be cooking every Saturday of October and you can still enjoy the Bazaar food you know and love including the Hispanic and Filipino cuisine, Knights of Columbus dinners and the Youth Fish Fry. Stop by the tables outside for dinner tickets, all only $10 each. Also available are Zoom Bingo packets which includes 10 Games, 3 cards each game, all for $20. Comes with complete instructions on how to join the Zoom Bingo event.
•The Bazaar Committee has also arranged an online auction. This year, because auction items will need to be clearly visible on screen, we are asking you to not wrap baskets. Instead, if you would like to donate to the auction we suggest unwrapped baskets, single items both new or collectible, gift cards and gift certificates. Deadline for donated items is October 10th.
• This year we have added a telethon to the Bazaar! A night of entertainment featuring singers and musicians from our parish. Special guests include two tribute artists performing Elvis’s greatest hits and songs from Linda Ronstadt and Patsy Cline. The telethon will take place on Saturday October 24, from 7 to 10 p.m. and you will have the chances to bid on private auction items. Performances from our Spanish and Filipino ministries will also be featured. Tune in and help our parish community.
